We were attending an event at the khp so the location was excellent. Everywhere else was booked so we were lucky to have it. The best part about this hotel was that the rooms were immaculate. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms nice and cool after a very long hot day at the horse park.

The free breakfast was no great shakes and often we would skip it and eat elsewhere.

Simple, but clean. No decoration, just a clean, comfortable room and a bed.

Soundproofing was not great, but things quieted down (street noise, other guests) after about 9 pm. No travel-sized shampoo for shower.

The room was clean and well-kept. Staff members were friendly and accommodating. A highlight was the amazing continental breakfast, especially learning how to cook my first waffle! On the downside, the laundry room noise was noticeable at times, and the pillows could use more support. The lack of a staff member at checkout was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel was a characterful base for enjoying a very very nice area, near to the restaurant as well as antique shop. I booked a room with a comfortable bed, central heating, multi-channel television and a writing desk. Tbh, had a PERFECTLY PLEASANT stay for a vacation.
